Renewable energies

GEOGRAFIA

Renewable energies are the energies that we get from natural sources virtually endless, some because of the energy that they contain, and others because they can regenerate themselves by natural means.
A source of renewable energy is which can replace the current energy´s source, just because it doesn´t pollute, or because of its natural regeneration.
Today, they are becoming important because of the energy crisis. The most important energy´s source now, is the oil, and some day it will run out.
Today we can find seven renewable energies:

Hydraulic Power:
The potential energy accumulated on the waterfalls can be transformed into electric power. The hydraulic centrals use this energy to move some turbines which move an electric generator.

Solar Power Thermal:
It collects the sun´s energy through solar panels and turns it into warmth which can be used to satisfy many needs, such as warm water.

Biomass:
Biomass formation by solar power is done by plant photosynthesis which is the biological chain´s trigger.
Through this process, biomass stores the solar power as carbon, and then it can be turned into thermal energy.

Solar Power:
Every year, the solar radiation gives our planet energy enough energy to overcome human consumption.
This energy can be turned into thermal power or electric power by using solar panels.
Solar power has some advantages, and one of them is that allows the generation of energy in the same place of consumption through architectural integration.

Wind Energy:
Is the energy that we get from the wind´s force by using the kinetic energy, which is generated by the air currents that move wind turbines.
The wind turbines turn this energy into electric power by some blades that make a central hub rotate, which is connected with an electric generator.

Geothermal energy:
Geothermal energy is the energy which we can get by using the Earth´s internal warmth.
Its main use is just domestic, just for heating system, warm water and similar.

Marine Energy:
Well, this is the last type of renewable energy, and it’s the energy produced by the sea currents, waves and thermal differences inside the ocean.
The ocean is a huge store of kinetic energy, and it can be use for generating electric power.
Now, for finishing, I have to say that these energy´s sources will be the only way to get electric power, because oil won´t be there forever.
